乌迈尔说，在2025/26财年，沙特阿拉伯和德国是埃塞俄比亚咖啡第一和第二大出口市场。中国位列第三大出口市场，排名高于上一财年的第五位。

据该机构统计，2025/26财年，埃塞俄比亚向中国出口咖啡47836吨，出口额达3.47亿美元，同比分别增长约40%和58%。

乌迈尔表示，埃塞俄比亚对华咖啡出口增长主要得益于有机咖啡出口增加、物流服务的改善以及两国贸易关系的日益密切。

“我们正努力通过大力推广、出口有机咖啡来挖掘中国市场潜力，满足中国消费者，尤其是年轻消费者对咖啡日益增长的需求。”乌迈尔说。

Umeil said that in the fiscal year 2025/26, Saudi Arabia and Germany will be the first and second largest export markets for Ethiopian coffee. China ranks as the third largest export market, higher than the fifth place in the previous fiscal year.

According to the agency's statistics, in the fiscal year 2025/26, Ethiopia exported 47836 tons of coffee to China, with an export value of 347 million US dollars, an increase of about 40% and 58% year-on-year, respectively.

Umeil stated that the growth of Ethiopia's coffee exports to China is mainly due to the increase in organic coffee exports, improvement in logistics services, and increasingly close trade relations between the two countries.

We are working hard to tap into the potential of the Chinese market and meet the growing demand for coffee among Chinese consumers, especially young consumers, by vigorously promoting and exporting organic coffee, "said Umeil.
